I hate how depictions of futuristic cities, even if they are eco-friendly, consists of too much garish buildings that occupy

I hate how depictions of futuristic cities, even if they are eco-friendly, consists of too much garish buildings that occupy too much space, lawns everywhere…there might be plants, but they are on buildings, as if nature is serving buildings. I want a future city with a more authentic and organic feel, something that allows for the experience of a community, very much in tune with nature, existing alongside of it. The idea is to restore the world overtime so that it is much more “nature” than it is not. Technology exists and greatly valued, but to support nature and human interconnection and it is not overwrought everywhere to the point of excess. My favorite ideal of a city is from Gilgamesh: 1/3 building, 1/3 gardens, 1/3 open space.
